Our house competitions provide opportunities for the children to work together, support each other and to be awarded house points that contribute to the house cup at the end of term and are proving very enjoyable whilst other freedoms and activities are restricted.
This term’s Times Table House Competition was a great success with pupils from Gold Bubble (Years 4 – 6) going head to head to represent their Neptune, Jupiter, Saturn and Mars houses.
The children were all given 72 questions which were either a times table up to 12 x 12 or the related division facts.
Mr Widdows, our specialist Maths teacher was incredibly impressed with the children’s efforts, particularly with those who scored 100%.
The overall winners were Neptune, who were awarded extra house points and delighted with their win.
