Fees

St John’s Priory School is committed to offering an affordable independent education to local families and strives to maintain a highly competitive fee structure.

We aim to offer accessibility to as many local families as possible and will consider applications for financial assistance where possible.

Fees and additional charges for 2023 – 2024 are detailed below.

St John’s Priory School’s teaching standards, vision, facilities and environment offer exceptional value for money.

Admission Fees

There is a non-refundable administrative fee of £100 to register your child for a place. This is not applicable to our Nursery children. If you accept a place and subsequently withdraw acceptance, the school will retain your deposit.

Bursarial Support:

Bursarial support is available to assist families on an individual means tested basis. Most of our recent successful bursary offers were for less than 30% – enabling the school to assist more families.

Bursaries on school fees can be made available for children from our Reception class, up to year 6. The means testing process involves full disclosure of financial information. We will ask a series of questions when assessing your bursary request, a-long-side the financial information, and as a guideline a joint income of £60K+ will be above the threshold for a bursary.

Parents wishing to make an application should contact the School Business Manager, Miss Karen Kelly – sbm@stjohnspriory.co.uk

Childcare Vouchers

We support our working parents, using our extended school facilities, by allowing payments to be made using Childcare Vouchers.

Childcare Vouchers can be used to pay towards school fees for children under five only.

From the start of the academic year in which children turn 5 years old, Childcare Vouchers cannot be used to pay for school fees. Instead, they will only be accepted for chargeable, non-curricular activities that take place after school hours including: holiday clubs, after school provision and supplementary after school clubs including; Judo, football, gymnastics, musical theatre, dance and design and technology that appear separately on your fee bill.

We cannot accept vouchers for school trips, residentials or school lunches.

Fees

Fees are subject to regular review, normally on an annual basis. The school reserves the right to alter the fees as necessary at its discretion.

All fees are due termly in advance on or before the first day of term. Payment can be arranged by monthly instalments by contacting the School’s Business Manager.

The Proprietors of the school review the fees annually to ensure that they represent best value to parents.
