STEM

Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics are integrated across the curriculum, with a view to inspiring and encouraging pupils to develop their enthusiasm and skill in these areas. Through STEM, pupils also develop their teamwork, independence, reasoning and critical and creative thinking.

Our emphasis on STEM reflects our commitment to empower our pupils with the skills to succeed and adapt to an increasingly complex, changing, technological world. We believe that STEM subjects are critical in developing in our future generation, the innovation necessary to sustain their environment and economy.

Many of our alumni pupils have been inspired by their specialist teachers, school workshops and visits, go on to excel in STEM subjects at senior school and beyond and even to embark on STEM based careers in their future; attributing their passion for these subjects to the foundation that they received at St John’s Priory School.
