Offering a 7 years+ entry award; allowing children from Year 2 to benefit from the many advantages of an independent education.
We are proud to be offering substantial awards to children showing potential in one or more areas:
- Art & Design
- All rounder
The awards result in a reduction of fees, by a percentage of up to 30%. This is retained throughout a pupil’s time at St John’s Priory School, subject to satisfactory progress, behaviour and continued high standards.
At St John’s Priory School, our pupils receive a fantastic foundation to their education during their pre-prep years which we build upon as they move through the prep school. As our pupils progress through the prep school, they are prepared, for the transition to their chosen senior schools.
Year 3 is a key academic year for children at St John’s Priory, as it is when the preparation for Senior School begins in earnest. Subject specialist teaching is extended beyond the arts and modern foreign languages into the core subjects; English, Mathematics and Science. Specialist teaching by teachers with many years of experience is an asset of the school enabling us to achieve academic excellence. Children have opportunities for private music tuition, Dance, Judo and Musical Theatre. In addition, strong links with our local senior independent school; Bloxham School affords our pupils regular access to their extensive grounds and first class sporting facilities.
Here at St John’s Priory, we have the expertise and resources to support children with all levels of intellectual ability, or with specific talents and to offer a personalised approach to education. The small size of our classes, enables our children to develop into adventurous, confident and engaging learners and we regularly receive feedback from senior schools on how well-rounded and confident our ‘Old Priorians’ are.
Every step of the way, from admission to senior school transition, our role is to support our parents in selecting the right Senior School for their child; and to ensure our pupils are prepared for their entrance examinations and go into these confident in their abilities.
